Terms & Conditions

CODE OF CONDUCT - RECREATIONAL SESSIONS

☆  Gymnasts are requested to train in safe gymnastics attire. Beaming Stars have a club uniform which is compulsory after your first term. Prior to this, suitable clothing must be worn at all times (T-shirts and shorts/leggings are fine), allowing freedom of movement but without being open, loose or floppy for safety reasons.

☆  No jewellery is to be worn in the gym – please ensure all jewellery is removed prior to your session as there are no secure storage facilities within the gym and your coach will not be held responsible for any personal property.

☆  Gymnasts are required to arrive for their session in their gym clothes. As the weather is currently unpredictable and can be cold, we suggest a warm onesie over your child’s leotard so they can simply slip off quickly when inside the gym. There will be a dedicated space for gymnasts to place their belongings whilst in the gym. Naturally we want the space we have in the gym to be taken up equipment and space for your child to practice their gymnastics so please ensure your child only arrives with the essentials including a bottle of water and please be sure they have a small snack before arriving if coming straight from school or in the development group which is a 2 hour session.

☆  Beaming Stars’ ethos is to nurture and develop each and every gymnast to their full potential, promoting a positive, healthy environment. Hostile or disrespectful behaviour such as bullying, swearing, insulting/name calling or fighting will NOT be tolerated and Gymnasts will be asked to sit out or leave the training session if such behaviour is displayed.

☆  Respect your coach.

☆  Treat the equipment with respect.

☆  Gymnasts of all ages must be brought to and collected from the gym by a responsible adult.

☆  Please note, there is no viewing gallery and parents are not permitted in the gym, however, we do invite parents in to watch at the end of term or on special occasions.

☆  Please ensure all fees are paid on time and note our fees policy. Please note, membership and term fees are non-refundable unless in the event of injury for which a doctor’s note is required.

☆  Gymnasts must not train if they are unfit to do so.

☆  On arrival to the gym, gymnasts must sit quietly and wait for the coach’s instruction to start the session. They may not play on the equipment unsupervised.

☆  Please ensure your coach is notified of any medical conditions your child may have.

☆  For any membership, payment, or registration queries, please see staff on the front desk or contact vikki@beamingstars.co.uk.

☆  For any concerns or queries regarding the session content and development of your gymnast, please speak to the Head Coach before or after sessions. Please note, coaches are usually teaching back-to-back so if the Head Coach is unavailable, please email via vikki@beamingstars.co.uk with your query or to make an appointment/telephone call with the Head Coach.

☆  Please ensure you do not take photos or videos of any other gymnasts (except your own child) without prior permission.

☆  You must refrain from bringing your child to class if they have had any form of illness within 48 hours of the class.

☆  We do not issue refunds for missed sessions due to your own circumstances. If there are any sessions missed sure to typical bad weather, Beaming Stars Gymnastics Club will offer a make-up session, or parents will be refunded.

☆  If you wish to cancel your place on the course, 1 months notice is required.
